Writing a book in your seventies just to see if you can and having it published by the first publisher you send it to, is exactly what happened to Wendy Gill from Barnsley. She said it has been the making of her and she never expected it.
Her first novel ‘The fat man and his toad’ is available to buy on amazon and is a story about Harriet’s forced marriage to Lord Planter, which eventually transcends into real love.
Wendy is now writing her second novel which I took the authors headshot for. The publishers @pegasuspublishers.com will be using it on the inside cover of her new novel, which she is working on now called ‘The New Sam Daggett’. It is due to be released later this year.
