So how amazing was Saturday Night, it all felt quite emotional I have to say!. Eight of our clients (and three others) dared to walk the catwalk with their favourite boudoir print and in the Maybella Range by Lucy May Lingerie. It was a real celebration of female empowerment, showing how well-fitted exquisite lingerie can look amazing on a wide range of women. It just goes to show the power boudoir photography and beautiful lingerie can have. My heart is bursting with pride, I am so proud of them all!
Meet Natalie and Paula, the creators of Lucy May and the lovely Laura modelling their lingerie.
We also roped in a good friend of mine, Katie Portman from ‘Pouting-In-Heels’ to host the evening, who did a grand job with her first ever experience with a microphone, mine too actually. It wasn’t only the ladies doing the catwalk who felt a little nervous before-hand, but we were all on a high afterwards, the atmosphere was incredible!
Our very own make-up artist Alisabeth Collings MUA was there, demonstrating her talents too.
I even had a go walking down the catwalk to lead my ladies out too. Loving the support Lisa Walker!
One of our catwalk ladies Donna posted this on instagram the next day…..
“A bit of a grainy pic but I think it’s clear to see that I’m having the time of my life by the big cheesy grin on my face! ☺️❤️(I’m second from the left!) I had the best time on Saturday night with some very lovely ladies modelling a beautiful new line of underwear by @lucymaylingerie whilst also promoting @masque_photography. I think that we successfully proved that no matter what your age or body shape you are beautiful and can still look stunning in a good fitting bra and pants! 😜😍👙❤️”
We gave away a gift voucher for the full VIP Masque Photography experience. The lady told me she had lost a substantial amount of weight and having the photo-shoot will be a great way for her to celebrate her new body, so I can’t wait for that.
Paula and Natalie, the founders of Lucy May Lingerie and I would like to thank everyone who took part and came to our event. I’d also like to say thank you to Charlotte Elizabeth, who despite being ill, came to photograph the event for us.
If you have any photo’s, video’s or stories from the evening, please use the hashtag #discoveranewyou on all social networks, thanks so much.
