This amazing lady is one of our make-up artists, who has been working with us for the last 3-years. We have become really close and when I asked her if I could take her portrait, although she wouldn’t usually put her hand up to be photographed, she said yes. I had in my mind a very classy, elegant style of contemporary portraiture, which had a hint of the essence of boudoir without being revealing. I love the beauty of draping off the shoulder and elegant hands. This first image is one of my absolute favourites!
I was blown away by this one using the fan (pun intended!). It adds so much drama, I love it!
For these I wanted to focus on the neck and shoulders and give it a more japanese feel. I’m always looking for anything interesting to feature around the neck to make our portraits more intriguing.
