The most requested part of the body I get asked to disguise

Want to know the most common part of the body ladies tell me they want to disguise? I’m sure it’s no surprise it’s the tummy.

In this blog post I want to share with you how we’ve got this covered. Learn the techniques I use with regards to posing, lighting and wardrobe choices, so that you never feel it’s an issue at all.

WARDROBE CHOICES

With regards to wardrobe choices, the number one thing I would advise is to bring is an one all-in-one. Corset’s are great as they pull you in and create an hourglass figure. Bodies, baby-doll’s and chemise’s are also great options. I usually like to start with these, as I want you to feel as comfortable as possible. High-waisted knickers work really well too.

I also suggest bringing a favourite item from your wardrobe, which can also act as a cover-up for you. For example your favourite dress, top or jacket. We can use whatever you bring to play with the undressing theme. This keeps it sexy without revealing too much. I often use more traditional cover-ups as well, like dressing gowns, lace robes, kimono’s, cosy knits, shawls etc. I also strategically place accessories like bouquets, books, hats, etc. to cover this area.

All I would say is make sure you feel good in whatever you choose to bring. Try everything on before hand and match with footwear and jewellery that you might like to wear with everything too.

POSING

I know just the angles to de-emphasise this area. We can lay on your front, we can lay on your side and use your arm in front of you. When you’re laid on your back, your bust blocks the view. When you push your hips away from the camera, putting the weight on your back foot, it appears smaller. You arms are also one of my secret weapons. The one thing I never do is put your hand on your tummy, as where-ever your hands are you tend to look. I won’t suggest positions which squish your stomach, we’ll always stretch it out.

So for any of you out there concerned about showing off your tummy, don’t let it hold you back. We have your back and I promise you we’ll show you looking at your absolute best!
